This, the second and final course in spiritual counseling, is designed to provide spiritual counselors with the neccessary education to be of greater help to humanity. It contains two segments, Intermediate and Advanced.
Like the previous course, Spiritual Counseling for Beginners, this class will be self paced. Unlike the previous course, though, this one will require alot of reading, and will be more difficult. All required reading is available for free on the internet.
By the time you finish this course, you will be fully prepared to enter the practice, and have your own website. You will have enough of a knowledge of psychology, cultural anthropology, metaphysics, and belief systems, to form your own private practice, or be an asset to an organization's spiritual counseling department.
Also unlike the first course, your abilities in various aspects of spiritual counseling, will be tested, including your intuitive skills. The skills tests will not affect your grade, but are a part of the 'Honing Your Skills' lessons, and require that you at least make an honest attempt to complete the assignments.
For this class, you will need to keep track of the message board, as the discussions are crucial.
If you have not done so already, you should take the course Spiritual Counseling for Beginners.
Students of all faiths and belief systems are welcome.
By successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Feel confident to practise professionally.
- Describe what psychology is, and its history.
