ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Reiki Master (with us, or another course provider).

On completion of this course you will be:

• entitled to add the letters “G.T.T. Dip. (name of course)” after your name.
• qualified in your chosen therapy, enabling you to practice professionally.
• confident and have in depth knowledge of your chosen subject.
• able to gain insurance, therefore being covered to charge clients’ money for treatments. You will be introduced to recommended insurer details in the course. (It is your responsibility to gain suitable insurance, or to check with your current insurer that they cover your chosen therapy. It is advised that non UK residents check course suitablity for the country they wish to practise in.)

COURSE FORMAT:

• Work at your own pace, take a break if life gets too busy. There are no time limits.
• Blended learning -various learning methods and styles to keep things fresh and interesting.
  Segment 1 is via email, Segment 2 online, Segment 3 is mainly practical.
• You will receive Segments 1 & 2 at the beginning, so you may work through one at a time, or work on them concurrently.
• Revision questions at the end of each module.
• You will be allocated your own Personal Tutor, receive on-going tutor support and feedback for each module.
• Complete 3 case studies to consolidate your learning and practice your skills, as well as for reflection and development.
• Optional practical workshops for some subjects.

SEGMENT 1: PRACTISING PROFESSIONALLY
(Can be studied concurrently with Segment 2 if you wish.)

-The Energy Body: Chakras, Aura, Meridians

Module 3: Legalities
- Health & Safety

- Becoming self-employed, checklist

SEGMENT 2: THE SUBJECT MATERIAL
(Can be studied concurrently with Segment 1 if you wish.)
-This segment is studied online.
-In depth coverage of the subject.
-Uses a range resource of materials.

Teaching Reiki will provide a guide for all three levels of Reiki, for instructors in helping their students learn Reiki. This course will begin with an introduction of the practice of Reiki and study Reiki concepts that will lead to more meaningful instruction, such as:

 

• Qi energy and what it means to the practice of Reiki
• how Reiki is used for mental, emotional and physical diseases as well as how it is used for spiritual issues. 
• meridians and how they're used in all forms of Eastern Healing.
• the importance of journaling in Reiki instructor
• having fun with Reiki techniques.
• refresh your memory on Reiki symbols
• and remember the basic hand motions of Reiki and learn how to teach them before going on to the teaching of second degree Reiki and the Master status of Reiki.

You will also learn how to take care of yourself as a Reiki teacher and learn the practical aspects of becoming a paid Reiki instructor. In addition, course information will include how Reiki is used in Hospices, surgical suites and other hospital settings.  This course will help Reiki instructors and Master's pass along what they know to others in the field of Reiki.

Course Lessons

Lesson 1: Introduction to Reiki To understand the basics of what Reiki is and how the healing process works.

Lesson 2: History of Reiki This lesson will review the origins of modern day Reiki and to know the major players involved.

Lesson 3: Understanding Qi Energy, Chakras and Meridians In this lessson you will learn about the underlying foci of Reiki in the form of Qi energy, Chakras and meridians.

Lesson 4: Teaching Basic Reiki Hand Positions Lesson Objective: To understand how to do self Reiki and Reiki on others using the hand positions.

Lesson 5: Teaching Second Degree Reiki In the lesson you will learn the methods of teaching a second degree Reiki class.

Lesson 6: The Reiki Master Status To understand the Reiki Master status and what a Reiki master goes through to become a Reiki master. It also discusses burnout and how to avoid it.

Lesson 7: The Variations of Reiki To understand the many variations of Reiki, including their similarities and differences.

Lesson 8: The Practical Aspects of Teaching Reiki To learn how to become a Reiki teacher so you can do it comfortably and with integrity.

Lesson 9: The Reiki Symbols We will review the Reiki symbols and understand when they are taught to students.

Lesson 10: Applications of Reiki Lesson Objective: To learn how to teach Reiki's applications to the students of Reiki.

Lesson 11: Teaching Reiki in a Hospital Setting To see how Reiki can be used in a clinical setting such as a hospital or clinic.

Lesson 12: Summary To review Reiki, we discuss some fun ways to use Reiki and to understand how to document your Reiki experience.

 

SEGMENT 3: CASE STUDIES
Putting it all together in preparation for case studies. Experiental exercises and practical work.
